A tropical garden in Indiana? Forrest Lucas, the owner of Lucas Oil Products, wanted to create an authentic tropical setting for the Colts’ Cheerleaders swimsuit calendar photo shoot. Listerman worked with a local landscape contractor to transform the pool area at the Lucas estate in Indianapolis.
Working together they planted palm trees, croutons, bougainvillea, banana trees, birds of paradise, and other tropical plants. Listerman and Associates also established new foundation plantings around all the buildings in the 38-acre estate including stunning hummingbird and butterfly gardens to attract colorful visitors.
