David graduated from the University of Kentucky with a BS in Ornamental Horticulture. He’s also a Certified Arborist. Out of school, he began working at a nursery – first as the manager of the wholesale center, followed by 15 years in sales covering what ultimately grew into an eight-state territory.
It was during this period when David established his strong relationships with an unprecedented number of nurseries, landscape architects, contractors and arborists. This is this experience that allowed him to form his unique and highly successful perspective on the industry.
Bridget founded Listerman & Associates in 1998 and is the majority stockholder. She began by managing the company’s financial and administrative functions, working closely with bankers, accounting firms, and health care providers.
Her roles within the company have continued to expand, and she is now the CEO, directing the company’s overall strategy and operational focus. Her leadership brings to the business an ever-present sense of fairness and accountability.
After college, Steffen entered the family business, taking on a range of important tasks. His successful management of several initiatives, quickly led to greater responsibilities within the Company.
As Sales Associate, he supported the sales manager in order entry and product procurement. He introduced the principles of Enterprise Resource Planning, matching resources to the flow of business.
As Sales Manager, he imparted his influence in the area of Relationship Management. This resulted in faster, more accurate transactions, enhancing many of our most important partnerships.
As Partner, Steffen re-thought and re-tooled the Company’s workflows and onboarding processes. He also began his repositioning of the business for greater Geographic and Fiscal Growth.
Today, Steffen is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP®), seeking new challenges.
Sharon began working in the nursery business in 1988, with responsibility for entering orders and inventorying the entire nursery. She worked with David, becoming his in-house support person.
In 2000, Sharon started managing the office at Listerman and Associates. Over the years, her responsibilities have grown, as she now manages the company’s Logistics program.
Sharon enjoys spending time and vacationing with family and friends, gardening, and enjoying the great outdoors.
Angie first met David while working in the nursery business when she was still in high school. She had taken on the responsibility of entering Order Entry and Invoicing.
In July 2015, Angie became the Office Manager at Listerman and Associates. Today, she is now assisting David in Sales and Maintaining Projects.
Angie likes spending time together with her family. She also enjoys attending cattle shows at the Ohio Best Shows, as well as coaching Girl’s high school bowling for Tecumseh.
Emma’s new responsibilities include Order Entry, Invoicing, maintaining Project Spreadsheets, and Receivables and Payables.
Emma enjoys spending time with her Australian Shepard mix dogs Honey and Hadley Mae, drawing pencil portraits, and bowling.
